Saint Dominic Academy

Congratulations Class of 2009!

Welcome to St. Dominic Academy -- a community of academic excellence empowering women for leadership in our global society. Rooted in Christian values, this Catholic institution embraces the diversity of its constituents promoting unity through understanding and education.

Since 1878, Saint Dominic Academy (SDA) has provided young women with the tools to develop intellectually, spiritually, and socially. We prepare our students to meet the demands of an ever-changing world, in an environment that values mutual respect, open communication, service and responsibility.

The success of our students and graduates is rooted in the Catholic foundation upon which SDA is built. Administered by the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell, New Jersey, we strive to give our students a genuine love for justice, truth and traditional Christian values. With an ethnically diverse student body and a vibrant urban setting, we offer a rich and supportive environment for achievement in the sciences and humanities.

During their four years at SDA, our students follow a challenging college preparatory curriculum. An honors program of accelerated and advanced placement courses is offered to the most gifted students and virtually 100 percent of our graduates attend major colleges and universities.

We encourage you to learn more about SDA, and the rich breadth of opportunities it offers for each student to grow and develop as an individual and as a contributor to the larger community.

Congratulations to our CLASS of 2009!                     Congratulations to Principal Deborah Egan for receiving her Doctorate of Education!                    Attention: Girls entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade this September - Register for SDA's RISING LEADERS SUMMER PROGRAM now!  E-mail jseborowski@stdominicacad.com for more information.
